Obituary of David Michael Bermel

David Michael Bermel, 66, of Mebane, NC, passed away at his home on July 2, 2024.

David was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Frank and Wilma Bermel. He graduated from Medaille College with a bachelor’s degree in business. David and Eileen raised two sons and settled in North Carolina in 1999. David had a successful career in medical sales and contract management until his retirement in June of 2024. He loved spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, and playing his guitar. David will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues.

Left to cherish David’s memory is his devoted wife of 43 years, Eileen Bermel; sons, David (Raquel) Bermel and Sean (Keshia) Bermel; sisters, Sue (Jim) Koller, and Janice (Steve) Cipolla; brother, Frank (Sue) Bermel; and his five grandchildren, Selena, Ella, Amelia, Beau, and Lucas.

The family will hold a private celebration of David’s life.
